Important Installation and Safety Notes
Hardware Reuse: The original factory rear caliper bracket mounting bolts can be reused to secure this adapter to the swingarm.
Component Migration: You must transfer the original small metal brake pad retainer clip/shim from the factory caliper setup over to this new bracket during assembly.
Low-Profile Bolt Requirement: To prevent physical clearance interference between the brake rotor bolts and the caliper bracket bolts, you must replace your disc rotor bolts with ultra-thin, low-profile bolts.
Installation Care: Use specialized low-profile tools to insert and tighten the ultra-thin bolts. Do not over-torque these fasteners. Tighten to appropriate specifications and the application of a medium-strength thread-locking compound (thread locker/screw glue) is highly recommended.
