The new Polini HI-SPEED variator is a masterpiece of technology, with the characteristic of an extraordinary patented lubricating system that enables exciting efficiency and performance without giving up the maximum reliability. The half pulley has been designed with different grades to let the belt to improve the excursion. The compression spring is 10% more charged. You will immediately notice that the starts will be faster and thanks to the new engine rpm range you will improve acceleration to reach earlier the maximum speed. TECHNICAL FEATURES. Piston pin made of chromed nickel with the lowest friction coefficient: it features the DLC carbon treatment for racing and aircraft applications dedicated to the sliding and high wear components. It has a big internal pocket that contains the grease, inside of which there is a special spring that allows a constant grease distribution on the pin even during the hardest conditions of use. The inside of the rollers sliding surfaces has sustained a new polishing treatment to improve the sliding. The rollers have a coating made of a new mixture of nylon and aramidic fibers. Rollers of 14gr are included in the package.
